We have a cluster of hosta plants near a pathway, and even I forget about them in the spring when we are doing initial yard clean-up. I gasped last week when I saw the emerging shoots, and I ran for the wire cloches. Safe for now. In a week, the cloches can be used elsewhere, as the plants are easily visible.
This is my second post. I enjoy this process and plan to expand my posts and perhaps do some storytelling in the future.
